Mojn! Welcome to our website about Denmark! We, as in Donna C. and Emily T., have worked long and hard to gather up information to let you know everything you need to know about Denmark. It is located on the Jutland Peninsula and is a very peaceful, calm country. It is surrounded by the Baltic Sea on the East side and the North Sea to the West.  The Danish Coat of Arms is also very interesting. There are two versions, the National and the Royal, but you will learn more about that later in the Blogs. The inhabitants of Denmark, the Danes, are descendants of the famous, blood-thirsty warriors the Vikings! This is a large surprise to everyone, for the Danish folk are very kind, gentle people. Also, the government is interesting as well. Denmark has always been a Constitutional Monarchy since the beginning of Denmark's reign. Also, it is known for the famous fairy-tale writer, Hans Christian Anderson. Known for writing his multiple fairy tales that are known far and wide, he is very much indeed an important figure for Denmark. Furthermore, the food is quite delicious. From the amazing aebleskivers to the indescribable frikadelle. Also, the entertainment in Denmark is quite world renown as well. The Tivoli Gardens are quite popular with having thousands and thousands of flowers as well as its multiple amusement park rides. It also features an arcade, and lots of food for tourists to gobble up! Overall, Denmark is an amazing country and I hope you enjoy learning about it!
